Portfolio of Creative / Art director and visual artist D. (Davison Carvalho). I specialize in developing visual styles, themes, identity and overall creative paths for intellectual properties. Primarily a visual artist turned creative, I have worked on many brand development projects as art and craft discipline lead for the VFX, movie, and videogame industries.

BIO

Initially focused on Illustration and Graphic Design, I moved to Screen Graphics/ FUI (Fictional User Interfaces) and Conceptual Art for movies and games. Later a Visual Development Artist on feature films until I transitioned full-time into the video game industry fifteen years ago, holding roles such as Art Director, Head of UI, UI Art Lead, Lead Concept Artist and recently Creative Lead.

I am currently Art Director and Creative Lead at Riot Games, Previously Art Director at Insomniac Games / PlayStation Studios, working remotely from my home-studio in Seattle, WA, USA.

I'm fully self-taught and have been an active professional artist without interruptions for the past 27 years.

PERSONAL

Brazillian living and working in the US for the past 13 years under work-sponsored O-1b visas.
Remote or Hybrid work prefered. Visa Sponsorship needed.
Fluent in English and Portuguese.
