SPACER

__

I wanted to make a device with an (FUI) interface for my previous experimental 3D space station, and I felt like the sci-fi level needed to be cranked down 50%, to have moremechanical and modular parts to it, more functional instead of fictional. This is what I made, using Modo, Illustrator, World Machine and Photoshop.

I added a few more hardware set decoration pieces compared to the original version from before. This was an attempt on a different workflow for flat interface and device creation and it was increadibly faster, by designing frontal parts of the devices and interfaces quickly in 1 day in Illustrator, exporting to Modo, setting the scene and set dressing the environment for rendering.

Renders were a bit slower since I was using Modo Indie, meaning no GPU render options at that time, each render took from 3 to 8 hours.
